LEIGH S. STAINKEN
Associate Attorney
Leigh was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2019; she has been with Eaton Family Law & Mediation, LLC since March of 2020. During her time with us, she has handled cases from general dissolutions to contentious custody battles. Leigh enjoys helping families find new ways to communicate and work effectively during a challenging transitionary period in their lives. She has proved to be a zealous advocate for her clients and their families.
Leigh earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oregon State University in 2014. During her time in Corvallis, Leigh volunteered with Benton County Victim Services and then became an administrative assistant with Benton County’s District Attorney’s Office. After her time in Corvallis, Leigh went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Willamette University’s College of Law. During law school, Leigh was the Vice President of her 2nd year and 3rd year law classes. She also externed with the Humane Society of the United States and traveled to Washington, DC to advocate for Equine Protection and Rural Affairs. After her time with HSUS, she worked as a Legal Assistant for GEICO Staff counsel in Portland.
Leigh lives in Tigard with her dog Huckleberry (aka Huck). In her free time Leigh enjoys going on hikes with Huck and exploring Portland.
